For centuries, the Pashtun way of life has been deeply intertwined with the teachings of Islam. Faith is the cornerstone of a Pashtun's identity, guiding their principles of justice, hospitality, and daily conduct. In Pashtun society, the Hujra and the Masjid stand side by side—the Hujra for serving the community and guests, and the Masjid for serving and worshipping the Creator.
Situated directly within the grounds of Hujra Sofian is Masjid Muhammad Khan. This mosque is named in honor of the revered elder, Muhammad Khan (affectionately known as Khan Dada). It serves as a peaceful place of prayer and worship for both visiting guests and the residents of Village Sofian.
